- Our goal is to keep the classes small. Teachers are added as registration comes in insuring students to be in the
correct level. Level classes can go from 1 to V depending on enrollment

PERCUSSION: 
BIG BAND – conducted by Ed Palermo. This band opens up for the OSPAC Jazz festival.
HOW TO PRACTICE
RHYTHM SECTION
MID DAY FACULTY JAM – Teachers will perform different interpretations of the jazz standard including different rhythms, harmony and odd meters. Teachers will explore the intricacies of playing ballads, the blues, latin, sambas and swing. A question and answer period will follow with the students sitting in for some hands on experience.
MASTER CLASS – Working with the teacher of your instrument, the student will work on technique, improvisation, chord voicing, reading, phrasing, and understanding of form and memorization of
tunes.
